At Johnson’s Propane, we take pride in consistently offering the best possible pricing for propane to all of our customers. To assist our customers we have developed the Johnson’s Propane Budget Payment Program. This is a 10 month plan that begins in September and ends in June. There is no special pricing or fees associated with this program; it is simply designed to help our customers manage their finances by having regular monthly payments for the propane used during the heating season. To be eligible for the program, the customer must be in good standing and have a zero balance when the program begins in September (renters are not eligible for the program). The budget amount for each customer is based on an estimate of their specific propane usage during the heating season (September – May) and the “capped” price of propane for the heating season. The “capped” price is set in August and is valid through the end of March.
Here’s how the program works: in early to mid August we will send letters to customers who have requested information on the Budget Payment Program. The letter will indicate the monthly budget amount and requires that the customer either accepts or declines the terms of the program and returns the letter to our office by the end of August. The first budget payment will be due in September and then each month through the end of June (regardless of whether a delivery was received in that month or not). To remain on the program, budget payments must be made each month. An adjustment of the budget amount (increase or decrease) may be necessary due to variations in price or usage.
